Meet the people behind your stay
Eva’s story is at the centre of Hotel Malleberg. She grew up surrounded by hospitality in a family of restaurateurs, trained in hotel management and gained experience in hotels abroad. Back in Bruges, she set out to create a place where the rooms have their own character and guests feel genuinely welcome. Eva pays attention to the atmosphere of the house, the finishing touches and the homemade plant-based breakfast she prepares each morning. Her approach is personal rather than standardised, and she is happy to help guests find the room, local restaurant or practical information that suits their stay.
Niels complements Eva’s hospitality with a passion for local history. He can point visitors towards the stories of Bruges, its quieter streets and its architecture. For guests who want to explore further, he also organises private First World War battlefield tours through Visit Flanders Fields. These are independent guided experiences and are not included with hotel accommodation. Your room booking remains straightforward through the hotel’s official booking engine.
Together, we want you to know who is welcoming you and where to ask for help. If you are deciding between rooms, arriving after reception hours, planning a family visit or wondering about accessibility, send us a message before you book. We would rather provide a clear answer than let you arrive with the wrong expectations.
