Eva grew up in a family of restaurateurs, with hospitality running through her veins. After studying hotel management, she gained international experience working in hotels around the world. She eventually returned to her beloved Bruges to fulfill her lifelong dream: creating a sustainable boutique hotel that reflects her values and passion.
Eva is joined by her partner, Niels, a history enthusiast with a flair for storytelling. Niels offers guests unique guided tours — taking them to castles and abbeys around Bruges in one of his vintage cars , or to the historic Flanders Fields .He also leads captivating walking tours through medieval Bruges.
Together, Eva and Niels are devoted to pampering guests, showcasing the best local spots, and helping visitors experience the authentic charm of Bruges. They proudly hold a Green Key label for their eco-conscious efforts and furnish the hotel with carefully selected antique pieces.

Yes. We are the first plant-based boutique hotel in Bruges. Eva prepares a fully plant-based breakfast every morning from 08:00 to 10:00 in our medieval cellar. We also curate plant-based restaurant recommendations across the city.

No. As a historic Bruges town house, we do not have a lift. Rooms are on the ground, first, or second floor, accessible by stairs only. Guests with mobility concerns should contact us before booking.
Niels offers guided walking and cycling tours of Bruges, private vintage car journeys to castles and abbeys, tours to the Flanders Fields battlefields, and custom tours on request . More at brugge.tours.

Train to Bruges station, then bus nr 2 toward the city centre — exit at 'Molenbrug'. A taxi from the station costs approximately €15. We are at Hoogstraat 7, next to the Burg.
Parking Pandreitje and Parking Langestraat are the closest underground car parks. Approach via Buiten Katelijnevest and enter via the Langestraat to avoid the pedestrian shopping streets.
